Test your coding skills online

Directi, a company that develops internet products, launched CodeChef, a non-commercial multi-platform online coding competition, featuring monthly contests in more than 35 different programming languages. Winners of each contest get cash prizes (up to Rs 50,000), and recognition from their peers.

CodeChef was created to challenge and engage the developer community. “Our goal is to provide a platform to practice, compete, discuss and learn through collaboration online. This will enable developers to benchmark their skills against their peers,” said Bhavin Turakhia, founder, chairman & CEO, Directi.

“We designed CodeChef as an initiative to supplement the Indian education system by enabling knowledge sharing and driving learning through competition. We are determined to bridge the gap and help aspiring software developers in India develop into highly talented professionals,” Turakhia added.

The site features problems in various difficulty levels to solve in order to address different groups of programmers. It is a completely automated initiative and solutions to all problems are published online.
