India's top software services exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said it has signed a multi-year contract with Italian bike maker Ducati Motor Holding to deliver technology-based services to the latter and its subsidiaries in Europe.
Though TCS remained tightlipped about the deal, a company official said the deal runs into multi-million dollar.
As a first assignment TCS has been awarded an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) project to help Ducati Motor Holding and its subsidiaries in Europe make accurate forecasts, monitor inventory levels, optimize production plans and overall reduce logistics costs. For this assignment, TCS has partnered with KPMG Advisory Italy.
