HNTB Corp cut around 250 employess because of the weak economy. Sara Prem, HNTB’s public relations manager, said that the company laid off about 6 percent of its nearly 4,000 systemwide employees.
That equates to about 240 employees. Prem confirmed that the layoffs included Kansas City-area employees, but did not disclose how many.
